 Golden Homecoming 2000 What an exciting year we have planned this year. As well as building several brand new displays to enhance ones already on exhibit we are planning Golden's Homecoming 2000. This Homecoming Event which will take place on September 1,2,3 and 4th, 2000 is open to all past and present residents of the Golden District, and their families and relatives. Come home to help us celebrate......there will be bus tours past the old farms in the valley to the south and through the Blaeberry. Games, raffles, slide shows of the old days, a dance, card parties, special speakers and entertainment. There will also be lots of time to sit down with old friends and reminisce. To further enhance the Homecoming Event the kick off for the new 2000 Golden Memories Book will take place at Homecoming. A chance to pick up a copy of the book for those near and dear to you.
